Key Projects
Edmonton Transit System
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Edmonton sought to replace cloth seats with plastic to improve hygiene. We developed a unique seat design that prioritized passenger safety and comfort, incorporating an additive in the plastic that helps prevent the spread of pathogens.
Metro Transit
The customer wanted to replace cloth seats with plastic. During validation, we discovered that nearly all seat frames were different from one another. Our engineering team developed an adaptive tool that fit any seat frame without compromising structural integrity. We designed custom tooling that snaps securely into the frame, eliminating rattling as the train cars operate.
